All Ideas and No Outlet? Channel them into the
Inside Out Queer Youth Digital Video Project.

CALL FOR PROPOSALS

Present us with your own saucy perspective being queer and young. We’ll
give you an outlet for your unique perspective. Inside Out and Charles
Street Video will teach you how to develop your script, how to use a
digital camera and how to edit YOUR 5 minute video to be premiered at the
Inside Out Festival in May 2009!

* Applicants must be between the ages of 17 to 24 years old.
* Applicants must have little to no experience making films or videos.

LA CHAMBRE BLANCHE is an artist-run centre with a mandate to promote installation and site-specific practices.

LA CHAMBRE BLANCHE offers:
- residencie of six weeks
- lodging at LA CHAMBRE BLANCHE
- $ 1750 (CAN) artist fees
- technical assistance
- transportation cost for artists from the North-East of America (the half for the others)
- acces to a woodworking shop and a computer lab
- acces to the equipment and to the documentation centre

Groupe Intervention Video (Montréal): Call to Women Video

Founded in 1975, Groupe Intervention Video (GIV) is an artist run, non-profit centre that
acquires, distributes, exhibits, and produces independent videos directed by women.

The Vault/La voûte is an ongoing GIV program that begins as an open call submission process
on a particular theme. The first of these screenings, held in March 2007, was on the themes of
Archiving and Preservation. The second, held in April 2008, was Concise Terror on ‘horror’

VIVA! Art action - 2nd edition

DEADLINE: December 5, 2008

Studio 303 is currently seeking artists for the Verni #143 on February 21st at 7pm and 9pm. The evening's theme is Live! (Everything exposed DIY, musicians on stage, sound created by performers, work without the invisible magic of theatre technology, no hiding behind lighting and sound cues.).

The submission deadline is December 8th 2008.
