Doyon Demers

dd_veuves.jpg

“Undisciplinary”, that is without any fixed discipline and undisciplined, Helene Doyon and Jean-Pierre Demers have operated as DOYON/DEMERS since 1987. While making room for the construction of social identities and for intrusions into pre-existing life frameworks, the pair has been responsible for numerous actions, manœuvres and events situated, generally, for the most part, outside the protected spaces of art.
